During the 40<\/em>th<\/sup><\/em> edition of the Mar del Plata International Film Festival, this special showcase\u2014which began on November 11 and will continue through November 13\u2014will take place at Cine Ambassador \u2013 Sala 2 (C\u00f3rdoba 1673).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is worth noting that this is the first edition to dedicate an exclusive space to national festivals, with the aim of highlighting the programming, promotion, and audiovisual development work carried out across the country while strengthening collaboration and exchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This section presents a selection of films that reflect both the diversity and quality of Argentine and Latin American cinema featured in festivals throughout the country. Each screening will also be accompanied by a discussion with the directors of the participating festivals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program for Wednesday, November 12, will open at 2:30 p.m. with I Don\u2019t Want to See the Sun, I Want to See the Sun,<\/em><\/strong> <\/em>by Constanza Epifanio (Semana de Cine Argentino \u2013 Salta<\/em>), accompanied by Federico Casoni (festival representative); For the Soda<\/em><\/strong>,<\/em> by Emiliano Goyeneche (Semana de Cine Argentino \u2013 Salta<\/em>); The Little Panthers,<\/em><\/strong> by Alejandro Gallo Berm\u00fadez (Semana de Cine Argentino \u2013 Salta<\/em>); La Cerrillana<\/em><\/strong>,<\/em> by Andrea Urquiola (Semana de Cine Argentino \u2013 Salta<\/em>); and No Time for Carnaval<\/em><\/strong>, <\/em>by Tadeo Pesta\u00f1a Caro and Kevin Havas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At 5:00 p.m., Reas<\/em><\/strong> <\/strong>by Lola Arias (Cine a la Vista \u2013 Neuqu\u00e9n<\/em>) will be screened, with the attendance of Cintia Laura Aguirre (lead actress) and Nora Di Domenica (festival director). The day will conclude at 8:00 p.m. with Ant\u00e1rtica \u2013 Domain One<\/em><\/strong>,<\/em> by Joaqu\u00edn and Juli\u00e1n Azulay (MAFICI \u2013 Chubut<\/em>), who will attend alongside Valeria Malatino and Dami\u00e1n Mart\u00ednez (festival directors).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cycle will close on Thursday, November 13, with The Time Between Us<\/em><\/strong>, by Agostina Colantuoni (Tucum\u00e1n Cine<\/em>), at 2:30 p.m., presented by H\u00e9ctor S\u00e1enz (producer) and Humberto Salazar (festival representative). At 5:00 p.m., Yana-Wara<\/em><\/strong> by Tito and \u00d3scar Catacora (Cine de las Alturas \u2013 Jujuy<\/em>) will be screened, with the participation of Soledad Sanjuli\u00e1n (festival director). Finally, at 8:00 p.m., Amei Te Ver<\/em><\/strong> and Y La intensa lluvia,<\/em><\/strong> by Ricardo Garc\u00eda and Guillermo Rovira (Ober\u00e1 en Cortos \u2013 Misiones<\/em>) will be presented, with the attendance of Guillermo Rovira and Laura Zapalowski (festival director).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of this section, a special activity titled \u201cPanorama of Cultural Management: Directors of National Festivals\u201d will take place on November 13 at 11:00 a.m. at Sala La Rambla, Casino Central (Bv. Mar\u00edtimo Peralta Ramos 2148, Mar del Plata).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting will bring together directors and representatives from festivals across different regions of the country, who will present their events and share experiences on the challenges and contributions of cultural management within the film industry.
