Synopsis
Rafaela is a young nun who belongs to a precarious, almost extinct congregation. For a long time, she has been having visions that eventually come true, but there is one incomplete, recurring dream that continues to haunt her. At the same time, she is sent to a nearby town in search of the new archbishop, with the mission of explaining the situation at the convent and finding guidance regarding her dreams. Along the way, she will experience extraordinary events that will either move her forward or set her back on her path.
Karla Badillo
Karla Badillo is director, producer, and screenwriter. She directed the short films Oasis (2018) and No Returns (2019). As a producer, she worked on films such as Ruido (2022) by Natalia Beristain and Eureka (2023) by Lisandro Alonso. Oca is her first feature film.
