Synopsis
Nora is about to turn 40 and cannot stop wondering: what is the meaning of it all? What was meant to be a celebration turns into a series of unfortunate stumbles that push her toward self-discovery. With open wounds, unspoken desires, and pasts that still burn, Nora faces her family history, death, unemployment, the collapse of her polyamorous relationship, and the urgent need to redefine love, her sexuality, and what she truly wants from life.
Lorena Villarreal
Lorena Villarreal is a director, screenwriter, and producer. Her first feature film, Las lloronas (2004), set a new trend in what came to be known as the new Mexican genre cinema, and later Silence (2018) was her first multicultural work.
