Synopsis
In a house between the mountains, facing a mirrored lake, Emma and her teenage granddaughter Alicia live together. Emma instills her passion for dance and raises Alicia as a mother, but Alicia falls prey to her controlling upbringing. The unexpected arrival of Barbara, Alicia?s mother and Emma?s daughter, accompanied by her caregiver, disrupts the routine of their small world. During their time together, tensions, desires, and secrets emerge. Little by little, like in a mirror dance, the roles of the three generations of women are blurred, exchanged and resignified.
Marlene Grinberg
Marlene Grinberg is an Argentine writer-director. She made the short films Todas mis Lolas (2018), Mi reina (2019) and Hoy empieza otra vez (2022). She co-directed the documentary Me gusta cuando hablas (2023). Tres tiempos is her debut feature film.
