Synopsis
A documentary portrait of Andrzej Munk, one of the leading filmmakers of the Polish Film School and author of the unforgettable films Man on the Tracks (1957), Eroica (1958), Bad Luck (1960), and Passenger (1963). Michal Bielawski´s film presents the director's artistic achievements using unique, partially unknown archival materials, film excerpts, newsreels, and photographs. The off-screen narration, built from interviews with Munk and his close collaborators and friends, guides us through the story of his life and work.
