Open Call: Cine Inmersivo, the VS TECH section at the Festival

We are opening the call for Cine Inmersivo, the VS TECH section dedicated to technological innovation in the Latin American audiovisual industry.

Organized by Virtual 360, with the support of FilmGate Miami, this year it comes with a special extended edition: it will take place on November 11, 12, and 13 as part of the 41st Mar del Plata International Film Festival, and will continue afterward in Montevideo as part of Ventana Sur.

Who can participate?
The call is open to creators, studios, production companies, artists, and developers from Latin America and the rest of the world working with immersive experiences.

Accepted formats
VR films and experiences for Meta Quest/Oculus headsets, interactive XR experiences, immersive narratives, and experimental and artistic works.

Exhibition
Selected works will be part of Cine Inmersivo, a space open to both the general public and Festival participants, designed to give visibility to some of the most innovative projects in the Argentine immersive ecosystem. It will be hosted in a dedicated space at Paseo Aldrey during the three days of the Festival.

Participation in this call does not involve commercial distribution agreements: this is a platform designed for exhibition and networking, which also seeks to open doors to future co-production, financing, and connection opportunities with new talent and audiences.
