The National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) announces that film submissions for the 41st Mar del Plata International Film Festival are open from May 4th to July 15th. The festival will take place from Thursday, November 5th to Sunday, November 15th, 2026.

The Mar del Plata International Film Festival is the only competitive festival in the region accredited by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF), a category it shares with, among others, Cannes, Venice, and San Sebastián.
