Submission Deadline Extended: the Festival Extends Its Call for Entries

We have extended the film submission deadline for the 41st Mar del Plata International Film Festival to July 15, 2026.
This extension aims to give filmmakers and producers from Argentina and around the world more time to complete their submissions and enter their works to be part of the upcoming edition of the only competitive Class A festival in Latin America accredited by FIAPF.
Those who have not yet submitted their film can do so through the official Festival website.
Categories and Sections
Feature films, medium-length films, and short films for the following sections:
- International Competition
- Latin American Competition
- Argentine Competition
- En Tránsito / WIP (Argentine and Latin American works in progress)
- Panorama (non-competitive)
Eligibility Requirements
Submitted works must have been completed between November 2025 and November 2026, with no prior public screenings in the country. Selection requires a password-protected download link valid through the end of the festival and a maximum file size of 2GB.
Fees
Submission fees vary according to the origin and length of the work:
- International feature films: USD 60
- International medium-length and short films: USD 30
- National feature films: $60,000 (ARS)
- National medium-length and short films: $30,000 (ARS)
The 41st Mar del Plata International Film Festival is organized by the INCAA, under the Secretariat of Culture of the Nation, and for the third consecutive year is being developed in coordination with the Mar del Plata Municipal Tourism and Culture Entity (EMTURyC), under the Municipality of General Pueyrredón, within the framework of the current cooperation agreement.
